Senior Associate Designer

As a Senior Associate Designer, your role will be to help conceptualize and create engaging brand assets, toolkits, and decks across complex digital projects for world-class brands. You will be working with design leads, interactive designers, strategists, content creatives, and producers. You must have a finger on the pulse of brand, technology and usability, style and aesthetic, culture and trends, and a whole host of other interests that inform your ideas and your designs as you become a key contributor to the team throughout the creative process.
Responsibilities
Create large quantities of digital brand assets, toolkits, and presentation decks for use across a variety of projects and pitches.
Interpret art direction and client feedback, then create multiple design solutions and be able to explain the thinking behind your work.
Understand the guardrails of email and app content, and create designs that push the limits of those platforms.
Provide your own recommendations with confidence, while remaining positive, open, and flexible to discussion.
Take accountability with tight deadlines and deliver quick turnarounds and revisions while maintaining high-quality work with creative integrity.
Research, validate, and share information to inform your design decisions.
Remain current on design trends and usability best practices, taking initiative to explore emerging technologies and report findings.
Build, manage, and maintain digital design systems.
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant design experience.
Strong digital design skills with a demonstrated proficiency across applications like Figma and the Adobe Suite.
Ability to ensure aesthetic quality and details are consistent across all creative. Be pixel perfect, adhering to and working within brand guidelines and/or established design systems.
Demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Details
This is an in-office Portland, Oregon position with three days per week in office. A hybrid approach will make up the other two days per week, with additional days in office per week as needed or required by management. We’re committed to maintaining a professional level of flexibility for our team to do their best work. *We are open to fully remote candidates as well on a per case basis.
The salary band for this role is $50,000-$60,000.
