Producers at The Program must possess an innate ability to navigate strategy, creative, technology, content, and client-brand partnerships. They own the entirety of the project process, ensuring no detail goes unnoticed and untouched. As a company cornerstone, they are solely dedicated to the success of every project and our clients’ business.
Of upmost importance is our people and the relationships we build. As a Producer, you will manage these relationships, delivering quality work under tough constraints with a positive outlook. Producers are responsible for spearheading complex projects for a wide variety of clients, categories, and mediums. You will help produce deliverable requirements and documentation, oversee timelines, budgets, and resources while motivating teams and managing partnerships with confidence.
*Note: although this is not a content production / video production focused position, you will work across the content landscape in partnership, from time to time, with a content producer and content creatives.

Project Stewardship
Translate client requests and requirements into detailed briefs, and solution based plans to ensure client needs and expectations within timeline and budget are met
Manage client-specific projects throughout the lifecycle including project kickoff, monitoring project progress, ensuring on-time delivery and timely invoicing
Develop and maintain project plans, including documentation of project scope, objectives, deliverables, key milestones, timelines, schedules, internal resources, project dashboards, tracking of financials, etc.
Define potential challenges and recommend strategic alternatives based on business priorities, budget considerations, timelines, and quality standards
Ability to motivate the team in a smooth, organized manner, promoting urgency without panic, confident direction over indecision
Primary liaison between creative, strategy, and clients, immersed in the work, facilitating feedback, and translating complex information into clear direction
Champion operational excellence by improving project workflows, documentation standards, communication practices, and project management processes that enhance efficiency across the organization
Collaborate with department leaders to allocate creative, strategy, production, and vendor resources
Relationship Management
Act as a trusted advisor understanding their business objectives, brand priorities, and long term goals, aligning agency offerings to meet those needs
Build, Strengthen, and maintain relationship with key client decision makers that foster trust, long-term partnerships and revenue growth
Set clear growth objectives and revenue targets, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
Support building persuasive proposals, pitch presentations, and competitive analyses to secure new business
Translate new project opportunities into clear SOW’s that reflect the needs and budgets from business development efforts
Experience & Qualifications
5+ years experience as a project manager, producer, account manager at an advertising agency or in-house at a brand
An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment handling several ongoing projects
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities in a rapidly changing environment
High proficiency in the Google Suite (Drive, Docs, etc.), Keynote, and spreadsheets, Asana, Airtable, and other project management tools
Ability to lift up to 40lbs of gear from time to time to lend a hand
For Portland-based candidates: Reliable vehicle and drivers license, willing to drive to be on set, meet with client partners, etc.

The Producer role reports to the Director, Project Management
Details
This is an in-office Portland, Oregon position with three days per week in office. A hybrid approach will make up the other two days per week, with additional days in office per week as needed or required by management. We’re committed to maintaining a professional level of flexibility for our team to do their best work.
The salary band for this role is $60,000-$80,000
