Do you help solve complex business challenges through inspiring design systems? Is workshopping design decisions with a strategist part of your workflow? Are you learning how to push boundaries within extremely rigid guardrails? We are looking for a Designer at our Portland, Oregon agency.
As a Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the visual direction across a variety of assignments, ensuring creative excellence across all touchpoints. The right candidate will have a track record of driving experiences in a wide range of media from initial concept to final hand-off, and can communicate their vision clearly and with confidence. The right person must have a finger on the pulse of style, sport, culture, media and a host of other interests that inform their ideas and their designs.
Responsibilities
Conceptualization and expand high-quality design systems
Ability to design for a variety of audiences, brands, and industries.
Concept campaign-level experiences and see the work through from ideation to execution
Conceptualize and create digital, social, and interactive experiences for use across a variety of brand campaigns
Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
Develop and maintain design guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
5+ years of digital design experience across various disciplines (brand, interactive, etc)
3+ years of creative agency experience working on projects for big brands with passionate consumers
Ability to make the complex simple with strong digital design chops and original artistic style
Growing ability to present design concepts to stakeholders, sell them on the vision, and incorporate feedback effectively.
Understand that consumers' time is limited and platform constraints are always a concern, and you build your concepts accordingly.
Ability to ensure aesthetic quality and details are consistent across all creative you touch. You strive to be pixel-perfect.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other creative tools.
Self-starting difference-maker with proven yet developing presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and creative problem-solving skills (and please clearly indicate your role in the overall project).
Reports To
The Designer role reports to a Creative Director.
Details
This is an in-office Portland, Oregon position with three days per week in office. A hybrid approach will make up the other two days per week, with additional days in office per week as needed or required by management. We’re committed to maintaining a professional level of flexibility for our team to do their best work.
The salary band for this role is $60,000-$80,000.
